Since earlier this month in March, AMA Community Centre has been working with the Ottawa Public Health (OPH) and the South-East Ottawa Community Health Centre (SEOCHC) to facilitate a vaccination clinic in its community hall space that is located at 1216 Hunt Club Rd.
AMA has been playing its role in supporting our community members by giving them a chance to get vaccinated against the coronavirus in the clinic hosted in our facility, and with the partnership of OPH, this goal has become a reality. It will be easy for our community to protect their health and get vaccinated.
People can book their vaccinations at different clinics around the city, and AMA is one of those locations. Our valued community members can call 613-691-5505 to book their appointment. Walk-ins will not be accepted, so they need to call in advance to book their appointment.
In case any resident needs to get tested for COVID-19, they need to call 613-737-8193 to book an appointment. Furthermore, same day just in time arrivals can also be accommodated. Our Centre is used as a testing clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
It is important for our members to bring their Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) card, proof of their address and their COVID-19 Vaccine Screening and Consent Form. By bringing them these items, getting the vaccine will be done quicker and smoother.
They can get the COVID-19 Vaccine Screening Form on the following link:
