Connecting to the Community with Guided Tours

Would you like a guided tour of our community centre?

In our guided tours we provide an overview of the wide variety of programs we offer at AMA Community Centre. We offer programs for children, youth, women, seniors, and all members of the family. We also showcase the Mosque on the upper levels of our building. Guests are pleased to learn how AMA provides opportunities for both spiritual and community development through its two main projects – the Centre and the Mosque.

The size of the tours we give can vary. During the Doors Open Ottawa initiative last month in June we gave guided tours to 190 guests in a single day. This is a city-wide initiative in which 100+ buildings open their doors to the public for tours. Although we receive most of our tour requests during the month of June, we also provide this service all year round to working professionals, students, and all other members of our community.

Guests will get to see different parts of our building including our 10,000 square foot community hall. Very few facilities in Ottawa provide this level of space for community programming and AMA is fortunate to have this asset.

If you’re interested in a guided tour for yourself or a group of people you can contact us at info@amacentre.ca.¬†We provide tours for groups of up to 30 people.
